Boris Karloff (William Henry Pratt) (1887-1969) was a British actor who mostly worked in the USA.

Short Biography:

He is chiefly known for his role as the monster in Frankenstein (1931); most of his subsequent roles were in horror films, although he also played some conventional parts.

He appeared in Scarface (1932), The Lost Patrol (1934), and The Body Snatcher (1945).
