Azumah Nelson (born in 1958) was a Ghanaian featherweight boxer, world champion from 1984.

Short Biography:

Nelson won the 1978 Commonwealth Games at featherweight, the World Boxing Championship (WBC) featherweight title in 1984, beating Wilfredo Gomez, and in 1988 captured the superfeatherweight title by beating Mario Martinez.
