Anne of Austria (1601-1666), daughter of Philip in of Spain, she married Louis XIII of France and on his death became regent for their son, Louis XIV, until his majority.
Short Biography:
She was much under the influence of Cardinal Mazarin, her chief minister, to whom she was supposed to be secretly married.
She is one of the main characters in Alexandre Dumas' novel The Three Musketeers in 1844.
