Andy Warhol (1928-1987) made his name in 1962 with paintings of Campbell's soup tins, Coca-Cola bottles, and film star.
Short Biography:
In his New York studio, the Factory, he produced series of garish silk-screen prints. His films include the semi-documentary Chelsea Girls in 1966 and Trash in 1970.
