Amaury Nolasco was born and brought in Puerto Rico. He is the son of Dominican parents. He never has an intension to become an actor. He studied biology at the University of Puerto Rico to become a doctor. After several acting shows he shifted to New York City and he got trained at the American British Dramatic Arts School.
