Aleksandr Pushkin (full name Aleksandr Sergheevici Puskin) was born on the May 26, 1799 in Moscow, Russia. He is considered to be the greatest Russian poet and the founder of modern Russian literature.

Biography and Career :

In October 1811 he went to Tarskoe Selo High-school in the town with the same name.

His first work, poem "To a Versifier Friend" appeared in Vestnic Evropi Magazine in 1814.
