Yukio Mishima (real name Kimitake Hiraoka) was born on January 14, 1925 in Shinjuku, Tokyo. He was a Japanese author and playwright.

Biography and Career :

Yukio Mishima was brought up by his grandmother, Natsu. While childhood he read books in German and French.

His grandmother educated him in a certain strange way that set a print upon his literary work, especially his attraction to death.
