Yasser Arafat (real name Mohammed Abdel-Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini) was born on August 24 or August 4, 1929 in Cairo, Egypt. He was President of the Palestinian National Authority and Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

Biography and Career :

In 1969, Yasser Arafat was the co-fonder and the President of OEP: The Organization to Free Palestine. In 1993, he became the President of National Palestinian Authority-ANP.
