Short Biography:

He was remarkable for his voice, as in the radio adaptation of Dylan Thomas's Under Milk Wood, and for his marital and acting partnership with Elizabeth Taylor, with whom he appeared in the films Cleopatra in 1962 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 1966.

His later works include Equus in 1977.
