General Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf (born in 1934) is a former American general who was supreme commander of the Allied forces in the Gulf War in 1991.

Short Biography:

He planned and executed a blitzkrieg campaign, "Desert Storm", sustaining remarkably few casualties in the liberation of Kuwait. He was a battalion commander in the Vietnam War and deputy commander of the 1983 US invasion of Grenada.
