Guillaume Apollinaire (Pen name of Guillaume Apollinaire de Kostrowitsky), born on August 26, 1880 and died on November 9, 1918 in Paris, France.

Short Biography:

He was a leader of the avant garde in Parisian literary and artistic circles.

His novella Le Poete assassiru (The Poet Assassinated) 1916, along with the experimental poems Akool (Alcohols) 1913 and Calligrammes (Word Pictures) 1918, show him as a representative of the Cuhist and Futurist movements.
