Earl Warren (1891-1974) as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court 1953-1969 he took a stand against radal discrimination, ruling that segregation in schools was unconstitutional.

He headed the commission that investigated President Kennedy's assassination in 1964, which made the controversial finding that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.
