Andre Breton (1896-1966) was a French author, among the leaden of the Dada art movement.

Short Biography:

Les Champs magne'tiques (Magnetic Fields) in 1921, an experiment in automatic writing, was one of the most notable products of the movement.

He was also a founder of Surrealism, publishing Le Mamfeste de surrialisme/Surreaiist Manifesto in 1924. Other works include Najda 1928, the story of his love affair with a medium.
