All meat-eating dinosaurs were roughly the same shape, but they varied in size. They all belonged to a group called theropods (meaning 'beast feet') and they were roughly bird-shaped. They all walked on their muscular hind legs, which had strong claws.
For tearing their prey, they all had powerful teeth. Some scientists suspect that many meat-eating dinosaurs may have been warm-blooded, like mammals.
