Peter Scudamore (born in 1958) was champion jockey in 1982 (shared with John Francome) and 1986-1989.

Short Biography:

In the 1988-89 season he became the third jockey to ride 1,000 National Hunt winners; in February 1989 he became the first person to ride 150 winners in a season and went on to increase his total to 221.
