Massimo Troisi was born on Saturday, February 28, 1953 in San Giorgio a Cremano, Italy. Troisi was born into a large family. His father was a train engineer. Massimo Troisi was an Italian actor best known for his role as Mario Ruoppolo in the 1994 film, Il Postino.
