Vaslav Nijinsky (1890-1950) was a Russian dancer and choreographer.

Short Biography:

Noted for his powerful but graceful technique, he was a legendary member of Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, for whom he choreographed Debussy's L'Apres-midi d'unfaune in 1912 and Jeux in 1913, and Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring in 1913.
