Gustav Mahler was born on July 7, 1860 in KaliÅ¡ti¬ in the Austro-Hungarian Empire (today in Czechia), as the second of twelve children of a Jewish family. He was a famous Bohemian-Austrian composer.

Biography and Career :

The family moved to Iglau, Moravia where Gustav Mahler spent the childhood.
