On the morning of 8th December 1980, photographer Annie Leibovitz went to Ono Yoko and John Lennon's apartment to do a photo shoot for Rolling Stone. After the photo shoot Lennon gave his last interview to DJ Dave Sholin of San Francisco. At 5:00 p.m., Lennon and Ono went to “Record Plant Studio” to record the song "Walking on Thin Ice".
