Tony Hawk's Pro Skater put the alternative sport videogame in the spotlight, yet mega-publisher Activision took a step back, some time off, and decided to reboot the franchise. And so, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game comes with a skateboard peripheral, somehow inspired by Guitar Hero. Personally, I don't see casual or hardcore skating fans getting much out of the idea, hence it being costly.
