In the United States "Domestic Arabians" is the name given to these horses and the single most important event in the history of Domestic Arabians was held on American soil. In 1893, to be part of the Ottoman Empire exhibit at the Chicago World's fair, from the desert forty these horses were exported from the desert along with their Bedouin handlers.
