Al Capone (Alphonse Gabriel Capone) was born in Brooklyn, New York City, U.S. on January 17, 1899. He was the son of Gabriele Capone and Teresina Capone, two Italian immigrants. Gabriele was a barber from Castellammare di Stabia, a small town about 24 km south of Naples, Italy while Teresina was a seamstress and from Angri, another small town in the province of Salerno, Italy.
