What is INO you might ask? Well I'm Not Obsessed has basically become a brand in the industry of celebrity blogs; www.imnotobsessed.com was created with the intent to give people access to a more pleasant and safe environment where they can read all about their favorite celebrities, enter competitions, shop online, get advice on how to obtain the "look for lee" and on what some of the best online bargains are.

From the very beginning, when you enter the website the design and color scheme denotes the touch of a woman. The creator of www.imnotobsessed.com is Vera Sweeney, happily married mother of 2. She has managed to put together a blog that focuses on celebrities but doesn't leave you with a rotten taste after reading it, from too many nasty pictures, mean comments or just raunchy posts.

The INO website is divided into several categories, amongst which we can name Get the Look, Features, Top Celebrities, Video Games, Lady and the Blog, Showdowns and many more. One of the most entertaining one is the Features category. It covers numerous sections, such as Celebrities on Twitter, Beauty and Fashion, INO games, Guess Who?( where you are given a riddle about a celebrity and you have to guess his/her name), Quote of the Day (where every day a celebrity's quote is placed with supplementary explanation as why it was chosen for that specific day), Love it or Hate it? (where pictures of celebrities in bizarre outfits are shown) and many more.

Another very fun category of the website is the Video Games- this can be called a website on its own, as it features sections for downloading games, playing games on-line, GamePass Games etc. No matter your taste, you can find something to please you here: Puzzle, Hidden Object, Card & Board, Word, Arcade, Match 3, Simulation or Family.

All in all this is a great website for anyone that wants to enjoy some time on the Internet, whether it will be by reading about celebrities or by shopping online, playing games etc.

Why do we recommend it?
We highly recommend www.imnotobsessed.com because this is one of the few websites that can deal with celebrities but in a decent, entertaining, fun way. It is also on the top of our lists due to all the other fun things to due on this website.
Why is it famous?
INO is famous because of how vast the website is. It covers such a big horizon of topics and points of interest that people will almost always find it to be useful or/and entertaining.

An interview with Vera Sweeney from Imnotobsessed.com
FW Editor: I know that you began INO after you had your children, but exactly what sparked this passion of yours?
Vera Sweeney: I wanted a job that I would wake up and look forward to doing each morning. I was lucky enough to be able to stay at home with my new daughter, so it wasn't about the money. It was more about the love of the content. Gossip was a naturally choice.

FW Editor: How has your family life influenced the principles on which you created the INO family?
Vera Sweeney: It has entirely shaped the network. I decided a long time ago that I wanted to be proud to share my occupation with anyone I met - including future teachers, playdate parents etc. I know the quality of content I put out is safe for everyone to read which will (at one point) make my children very happy. I never wanted to put my family in an embarrassing position.

FW Editor: Has keeping this website afloat ever been too much work for you, considering its complexity?
Vera Sweeney: I have lots of help. There are 3 writers and 5 interns that help me keep 'I'm Not Obsessed' and 'Lady and the Blog' afloat. I have technical support and my husband handles the business end. Believe me, this is not a 1 woman show.

FW Editor: Have you received any praise from celebrities regarding the way you portray them?
Vera Sweeney: Kelly Ripa told my writer that she likes my site because I "say good things about celebs". That was nice to hear.

FW Editor: If you had an offer to sale INO tomorrow, and the sum was right, would you take the offer?
Vera Sweeney: The sum would never be right. This is my baby. I wouldn't sell it unless someone was offering up the moon.

FW Editor: Has any other website, of similar nature, ever given you trouble? Is there any real competition out there for you?
Vera Sweeney: I try to remain neutral and friendly. Blogging can be very isolating and I do my best to make cyber-friends and share any information I receive. It's never about being in competition for me. It's more about working together to benefit the group as a whole.

FW Editor: If you had the chance to do it all again, would you still start INO through www.imnotobsessed.com or would you go differently about it?
Vera Sweeney: I wish I chose a name that didn't have a symbol in the title. I'm IM I AM - people always mess that up. That is my biggest regret. But even though I have to deal with that on a weekly basis, I still think the name of my site is funny and fitting.

FW Editor: Do you have any other prospects in mind concerning the expansion of the INO family?
Vera Sweeney: I just launched 'Lady and the Blog' (http://ladyandtheblog.com) which is a site that focuses on fashion, family and food. I also just started another business venture with a partner called Getting Gorgeous Events (http://gettinggorgeousevents.com). Audrey McClelland and I are having a great time putting that one together and are throwing our first party on August 6th in NYC for 350 women writers.
