After his shocking passing last week, DJ AM, born Adam Goldstein, was finally laid to rest on Wednesday at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in West Los Angles.
The private funeral was attended by the celebrity DJ's family, and close pals including Travis Barker, who survived a plane crash with the musician in September 2008.
There was also a memorial for Goldstein on Thursday held at the Hollywood Palladium in L.A. The invitation for the event, which was organized by Brent Bolthouse, stated, "The format of the evening will be in the style of an open 12-step meeting," and it would be "a gathering to celebrate the life of our friend Adam Goldstein."
