Tom Hardy is replacing Sam Worthington in the romantic comedy 'This Means War'

Friday, August 20 2010

The people form the New York magazine Vulture inform us that Tom Hardy (Rock'n'roll, Inception) will replace Sam Worthington in the romantic comedy (action) This Means War.

The star from Bronson will star in the role of a former spy who falls in love for a woman (Reese Witherspoon) that accepts the rent in a vacant apartment or hotel.

The problem is that his best friend (Chris Pine), a former spy himself, falls in love for the same woman. What follows is a "war" in which the two former spies are using the most advanced and deadly fighting techniques / espionage, trying to seduce the young woman. We are informed that New York has suffered, literally, from this rivalry.

The screenplay was written by Tim Dowling (Role Models, Midnight Run 2).
