The Heat Vision inform us that Channing Tatum was cast in the romantic fiction's Ion.
Unlike Avatar, for instance, who is also a romantic movie, the one form Fox is first off al a romantic movie and after that is a sci-fi one. Will Dunn's script is about a guy who travels to different dimensions and to different "Terra" to find his reincarnated girlfriend.
We made a direct reference to the mega-success of James Cameron's science fiction because the producers are confident that Ion will be the next Avatar (this is definitely an early marketing move, or just a random remark, but reporting to Cameron's film will press hard on Ion's shoulders).
The experts in Hollywood argue that the recent success of movies like Star Trek, District 9, and of course Avatar is responsible for several new Sci-Fi projects like Mass Effect, Logan's Run, Pacific Rim and All You Need is Kill.
