Terry Gilliam to work on Don Quixote again

Terry Gilliam to work on Don Quixote again

Sunday, May 17 2009

by Kaustav Das Modak

Director Terry Gilliam has finally taken firm steps towards releasing the big screen version of

the 17th century classic novel Don Quixote written by Cervantes. The movie will be

produced by Jeremy Thomas, Academy Award winning producer from Britain, and the script

will be written by Tony Grisoni.

The movie centres around Sancho Panza who is shown as a filmmaker heavily influenced by

the unending quests of Don Quixote in search for his lady love.

The movie has suffered a lot of trouble about nine years ago when it's shooting faced a

number of drawbacks. In fact, "Lost in La Mancha", the documentary based on the movie's

fate at that time became quite a good hit.

The movie, "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote", will begin shooting in spring.
