Susan Boyle to Pursue Singing Career
Susan Boyle to Pursue Singing Career

Wednesday, June 3 2009

by Joe Halls

The family of Britain's Got Talent season 3 runner-up Susan Boyle were delighted that the songstress has recovered from her emotional breakdown days ago.

Gerry, Susan's brother, said, "She's dying to come up to Scotland and sit down and have a wee bit of normality back in her life. She's keen to pursue her career as well. And she misses Pebble the cat. She's on the mend, she'll be fine."

One of the show's judges, Amanda Holden, talked to GMTV's morning show saying that Susan's doctors "really have reassured us that there are no underlying mental issues, and it purely is just that she's knackered (tired) – for want of a better word."

"I know that we care very much about Susan, and so the right people are looking after her now," she continued.
