by Kaustav Das Modak

United States Postal Service will be launching stamps of The Simpsons in order to create a long lasting memory of the popular show. The stamps will be released for the price of 44 cents and will be available within the United States of America.

The first version of The Simpsons stamps will be launched on April 9. On that day, the show will also celebrate its 20th year anniversary. Among the characters that will appear on the stamps are Marge, Lisa, Maggie, Homer and Bart. They are the main characters of the family known as The Simpsons.

The stamps have been designed with the idea of Matt Groening, the man behind the creation of The Simpsons. He is also the executive producer for the show. The Simpsons have become the longest running primetime animated comedy show on Fox network.

The US Postal Service receives about 50,000 suggestions for stamps each year. However, only 20 suggestions are chosen out of them.
