Lovebirds Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough, who were dance partners on Dancing With the Stars' sixth season, decided to part ways after a year of dating.
Hough announced the news with Elizabeth on Twitter, "Hi everyone, we wanted you all to know directly from us, that Shannon and I have decided to end our relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend..."
He added, "However, we love and care about each other very much and will remain friends and in each others lives."
After few hours, the actress tweeted expressing her gratitude to all her supporters, "Thank you everyone for all your sweet words and encouragement. It really means a lot to me!"
