Actress Salma Hayek rebuffed reports that a wedding worth $2 million is happening soon. The Mexican actress married Francois-Henri Pinault, a French businessman, in the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in Paris on Valentine's Day.
It was a surprise to many since it was remembered that the couple ended their engagement on June 18, 2008.
Hayek said, "I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun. I think spending millions of dollars on a wedding is ridiculous and it has never been my dream. I would never do that."
Prior to their wedding, Hayek gave birth to their first child on September 21, 2007 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
