Robert Pattinson has his sights set on becoming the next Simon Cowell - because he'd love to get paid for handing out insults all day long!
The hunky British Twilight star says he'd consider becoming a judge on Cowell's UK TV show The X Factor.
"It would be one of the best things ever to get paid for handing out Simon Cowell-style insults for the day," he said.
"I don't think he's rude, I think he's just painfully honest, which is what makes him so good.
"He must absolutely love his job, it can't be one you'd ever get bored with."
Recent reports claimed Rob, 24, is keeping up with life back home in Britain with almost obsessive viewings of popular motoring show Top Gear, which recently featured Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz as guests.
"Rob watches them on his laptop," a source said.
"All his pals back home watch it so he likes to keep in with them. He hopes to be a guest on the show although he'll have to work on his driving skills. He's well known for driving like an old woman!"by fw editor |
