Access Hollywood informs us that on Saturday, 19/06/2010, the actor Robert Downey Jr. aged 45 years and native from New York was present at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Chicago - Illinois and was awarded the Renaissance Award from the The Gene Siskel FilmCenter being considered by the gala organizers one of the most respected and versatile actors of his generation.
In an interview with director Todd Phillips, Robert Downey Jr. said that the most representative film projects that he has been involved so far are "Tropic Thunder" (for which he received an Oscar nomination in 2009), " "Iron Man" and "Sherlock Holmes" (which won a Golden Globe award in 2010) and said that he finally gave up alcohol and drug abuse.
You can see Robert Downey Jr. in the comedy "Due Dates" (directed by Todd Phillips) starting from November of 2010. He plays the role of a future father, trying to get home in time to witness the birth of his first child.by FW Editor |
