Robert De Niro doesn't like Twitter

Wednesday, April 6 2011

Robert De Niro insists he will never join Twitter because he doesn't see the point.

"I don't Twitter or any of that stuff. I don't have a fan club or anything I talk to. Twitter's not something I'm that into. I don't get it and that's okay." he said.

The Hollywood star also revealed he doesn't have "carte blanche" to help him do whatever he wants when it comes to projects.

De Niro notes the troubles and delays he experienced with The Good Shepherd, the 2006 CIA tale that he directed and starred in, saying doubts he could make a similar film now. He says people don't really want to do "those kind of movies" nowadays.
