The Oscar nominated actor Richard Jenkins is joining Julia Roberts in the film Eat, Pray, Love. It is the big-screen adaptation of the memoir of American author Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia.
The memoir tackles the author's journey around the world after her divorce, as well as her discoveries and realizations during the entire trip. The book has become New York Times Best Seller since its release.
The movie will be written and directed by Ryan Murphy. This film is rumored to be the star vehicle of actress Julia Roberts after her long hiatus from the limelight.
Jenkins, on the other hand, will play a man with a dark past and will meet Robert’s character at an Indian ashram.
