As we saw Tuesday in "Dancing With the Stars," Kate Gosselin was eliminated from the competition. She left seven couples behind.
The reality TV star and her partner Tony Dovolani howed the lowest score: 15 points out of 30.
"I think Tony could have had more life out of a frock on a coat hanger," judge Bruno Tonioli said Monday.
As we know, not only judges' scores are important whether to decide who stays and who is to leave the competition. They are combined with viewers' votes to determine which celebrity is going home each week.
Dovolani had only words of praising for his partner, the 35-year-old mom Kate.
"I give her all the credit for showing up, as exhausted as she was, she still showed up every day," Toni said. "You showed America that it doesn't matter how much things go against you, you still come out here and give it your best."
Gosselin, a mother of twins and sextuplets, starred in the hit TLC reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," with her ex-husband, Jon. The show had lasted only a few seasons, until the couple's marriage fell apart.
Kate told a few words while bursting into tears on Tuesday. She said she was honored to have been participating on the hit ABC show.
"I love everyone that I met," Kate said, apologizing for being "a crybaby."
"It was a great experience," she added. "I had a wonderful teacher."
Despite her low scores, Kate said she did her best in the ballroom: "I was scared to death most of the time to be out here."
Kate and Jan Gosselin are having a hearing in court in Pennsylvania on May 25 for full custody of their children. As we have recently found out, Jan's attorney had accused Kate of neglecting the children to appear on "Dancing With the Stars." The reality mom's attorney rejected it, as "patently false."
Kate Gosselin and Toni Dovolani are the fourth couple to e eliminated from "Dancing With the Stars." On previous episodes we witnessed the dismissing of Soap star Aiden Turner, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, and actress Shannen Doherty.
There are seven couples that we will see next week dancing in the contest. The next episode we will see the performance of: singer Nicole Scherzinger, skater Evan Lysacek, actresses Pamela Anderson, Niecy Nash, reality star Jake Pavelka, sportscaster Erin Andrews, and football star Chad Ochocinco.by FW Editor |
