The third studio album of Rapper Rick Ross is set to be the number one album on Billboard 200 chart according to industry forecasts. Deeper Than Rap is currently doing good in album sales. If this will happen, this would be the rapper's third consecutive number one on the chart.
Ross' album, which was due on April 21, is released under his own label Maybach Music Group. This is contrary to his previous releases that were made with Slip-N-Slide Records.
Based on its first-day sales, the album is predicted to reap more than 150,000 copies in its first week. The rapper's first two albums also bowed at the top spot of the Billboard chart. His debut album sold 187,000 and his second installment made 198,000 in its opening week.
Billboard 200 chart is currently headed by the soundtrack of Hannah Montana: the Movie that sold 133,000 copies.
