Although Guillermo del Toro has left the project to the infinite disappointment and suffering fans of Tolkien, Peter Jackson has not dropped at The Hobbit, and now he's desperately seeking for a director willing to give a chance to the two movies.
The people from TheOneRing inform us that the most "courted" one is Neil Blomkamp at this moment. Neil Blomkamp had a great start with District 9.
The choice of this relatively young and lack of experience director would be a complete misjudgment because Jackson has worked with Blomkamp mentioned above, which means the two know their professional and artistic directions. Moreover, Jackson could do more for the creative part of the movie, more than Del Toro has done in the past two years.
The last reason why Blomkamp seems a viable solution has been demonstrated by the measurement that he can cope with an excellent low budget production.by FW Editor |
