Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was allegedly hit by the manager of Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am, Liborio "Polo" Molina, in an altercation that happened at an event after the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto.
The world knew about the incident when Hilton wrote on Twitter, "I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."
The blogger immediately called for help on Twitter because the cops were not responding from his calls. "When the police are taking their time and not coming, I am freaking out, I took to Twitter. Because I was in shock and I felt helpless. That was my very public cry for help," Hilton said.
Will.i.am posted a video on Dipdive denying the allegations and claiming that Hilton was just seeking attention. Associated Press reported that Molina was charged with assault and the first court hearing will be on August 5.
