Paula Abdul, Host of VH1 Divas

Thursday, August 27 2009

Paula Abdul is returning to the music scene via the VH1 Divas, the special concert that raise funds for the non-profit organization "VH1 Save The Music Foundation," on September 17.

The former American Idol judge will be the host of the star-studded event. Telling her fans about the news, she wrote on Twitter, "Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year's "Vh1 Divas"!"

She added, "This year's VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus. I am so excited!!" In retrospect, it was announced in April that the divas’ benefit concert is back after a five-year hiatus.
