It was way back in 2002 where they last shared the stage together for a tribute concert of the deceased Beatles member, George Harrison. But last weekend, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr performed onstage for a livelier event.
Held at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, the benefit concert named Change Begins Within for David Lynch Foundation saw the two Beatles members played their group’s popular hits such as With a Little Help From My Friends and I Saw Her Standing There.
During the show, McCartney introduced his former bandmate as Billy Shears, Starr’s pseudonym on the Beatles classic, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The show raised more than $3 million for the foundation that teaches meditation and its advantages to millions of children worldwide.
