Nick Cave rewrites the script for the remake 'The Crow'

Friday, August 20 2010

According to an article published by those from The Wrap, Nick Cave will rewrite the new script for The Crow. The information comes in direct conflict with very recent news that says that the story by Steven Norrington is "excellent."

It seems that producer Ed Pressman, is not entirely happy with the scenario and asked Cave to make a few changes of style and substance, which I must admit that is not a bad thing, because we mustn't forget that he is responsible for an excellent story for the western movie The Proposition by John Hillcoat.

We are informed that Norrington's remake will be different from the original by Alex Proyas and will drag more toward the comic style and feeling written and illustrated by James O'Barr. If everything goes as planned, The Crow will go into production later this year.

We still don't know who will play Eric Draven.
