New York Dolls, the band which has influenced the New York rock music scene since their first self-titled album release in 1973, is back with another album after their last studio album "One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This" in 2006. The new album is named "Cause I Sez So". The release date for the new album has been scheduled to be May 4 (UK) and May 5 (USA).
Todd Rundgren, who produced the first album for the band, has been the producer once again for this new release. The lead singer of the band, David Johansen, said that the band has maintained their original sound which became popular with their first album. He also said that it was "amazing" to work with their old producer.
The album includes 12 tracks, including a new version of the track "Trash". "Cause I Sez So" will be released under the label of Atco Records.
