According to Contactmusic.com, actress Natalie Portman (29 years) has denied the speculations that she has been contacted by the producers of Hollywood's remake "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" and she would be proposed to interpret the main female role - Lisbeth Salander.
The first book in the Millennium trilogy of the deceased Swedish author Stiege Larsson was transposed to the big screen in 2010 in Sweden, but the movie industry from North American would enjoy doing a remake of the movie.
Although it is known that Daniel Craig has signed the contract to play the journalist Mikael Blomkvist, there are only rumors about the actress who will play Lisbeth Salander. The list looks like this: Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan.
Natalie Portman, who was nominated for an Oscar in 2005 for her role as Alice in "Closer", admits that she is a fan of Stiege Larsson's books, but she claims that there were never any negotiations for her to interpret the main female role in the remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and she declared the following to Moviehole.net:" I really like the books, but I was never contacted to play in this remake, so everything written about me are pure inventions “.by FW Editor |
