Michael Jackson Working on Two Albums Before He Died

Michael Jackson Working on Two Albums Before He Died

Monday, July 6 2009

It was known to many that before the pop legend died last week, he was preparing for his concert tour in London. But what was not known to the public was Michael Jackson was working on two albums prior to his passing.

Billboard reported that two albums were underway at the time of Jackson's death, one is a pop album and the other has instrumental classical compositions. Akon, who worked with him on his pop album narrated, "He said, 'My fans are still there. They still love me. They're alive.' His kids are like his first priority, and they had never seen him perform live. He was trying to create the most incredible show for his kids."

Composer David Michael Frank, however, who worked with the King of Pop on his other album, said, "He had two demos of two pieces he'd written, but they weren't complete. For one of them, he had a whole section of it done in his head. He had not recorded it. He hummed it to me as I sat at the keyboard in his pool house and we figured out the chords. I guess this recording I made is the only copy that exists of this music."
