Michael Jackson has paid £1million just to rent a Foxbury Manor in Kent. He is planning to stay in the luxurious 28-bedroom mansion during his upcoming concerts in London. The house is described as having an underground cinema, password-controlled gates and a private lake.
His new abode is next to Chislehurst Caves, mysterious underground passageways, which are said to have had several ghost sightings. Actually, it was even featured in the BBC TV program, Most Haunted, due to its popularity.
The King of Pop vows to start his series of shows on July 8, 2009 until February 24, 2010.
A source said, “The manor is just a private home, it's not normally available for rent. But Michael Jackson's aides spotted it, realized how suitable it was and approached the owner…The family don't need the money, but if they come to sell it in the future they will be able to tell people it's where Jacko stayed during his farewell tour. The place is huge and really close to the O2 arena. It's perfect.”
