Michael Jackson Movie To Have Simultaneous Premieres

Tuesday, September 22 2009

"This Is It," the highly anticipated movie about Michael Jackson's last days and footage from his concert rehearsals, is slated to have simultaneous premieres in over 15 cities worldwide.

The cities include New York, London, Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, and Seoul. More cities will be announced soon by the studio behind the film.

Sony Pictures acquired the rights of Jackson's rehearsal footage for $60 million. Before the King of Pop died on June 25, he was busy rehearsing for his comeback concerts in London.
