Michael Douglas says the current financial crisis is ruining his new movie.
The Hollywood legend - who's married to Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones - fears audiences may be turned off by Wall Street 2 because of the daily news of money woes around the world.
"In one way it's good because this movie is timely," says Michael. "But in another way it's not so good.
"I'm just glad we're coming out. You really don't want to be having your movie on the news every night. People think they've seen the movie already!"
Douglas, 65, recently revealed he stayed well away from the critically panned Basic Instinct 2 because he didn't feel confident back in the raunchy role.
"The first one was great and Sharon Stone was fantastic but who would want to see my saggy ass?" he said.
"I just didn't feel like doing another. The first one was a tough one to do and we pulled it off so god bless them but I didn't go near the sequel."by FW Editor |
