Megan Fox Bored of Being a Sex Symbol

Megan Fox Bored of Being a Sex Symbol

Friday, April 3 2009

by Joe Halls

Megan Fox who portrays Mikaela Barnes, Sam Witwicky’s girlfriend in the live-action film ‘Transformers,’ admits getting bored of being widely known as a sex symbol. Being voted as the ‘Sexiest Woman in the World’ by FHM in 2008 made her an apple of the eye among men worldwide.

In her interview with Empire magazine, she said, “You can't be (a sex symbol) 24 hours a day. I can't be a professional celebrity or a professional sexpot. I can't do that to myself. I just want to work and make the right choices, and study and develop as an actress. I don't want to be on the cover of every magazine that exists. I want to try not to do that. It's my job to show people something different.”

Joining actor Shia LaBeouf, they will reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel of the 2007 box-office hit, ‘Transformers’. ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,’ directed by Michael Bay, is due for release on June 2.
