Mariska Hargitay gave birth to her second child in just six months, according to the latest reports. Perfectly true… when you adopt!
The Law & Order: SVU star welcomed daughter Amaya Josephine six months ago and she started thinking about adopting again down the line.
Things went faster this second time and after just a week of processing paperwork, Mariska, 47, and husband Peter Hermann adopted a son, Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann.
"We never in a million years thought it would happen this quickly, but something inside of us knew that this was right, and we said, 'Yes, yes, yes!'" says the happy mother. "We knew this was our guy. Everything felt right. It felt divinely right."
